Division videos

LI:To learn to divide.
This week we did the last DLO. All I had left was making videos. And show you guys how to divide. I decided to show five examples with number in the 1,000 and 10,000. I put my videos on a google slide.

Different Language maths

LI:To subtract two digit, three digit, and four digit in different languages.
This week for maths we had to choose one of the DLO that was left and had to do three equations one in the 10's the other in the 100's and the last one we had to do was the 1,000's. That wasn't it after that we had to do the answers in three languages. My three languages were Arabic, Persian, and English. The I enjoyed it this task the most because I like learning new languages.

basic facts

LI:To learn my basic facts.
This week I chose to do basic division like 2 divide 4=2.

Multiplication Algorithm

LI:To explain multiplication algorithm.
This week for maths we had to choose one of three  DLO chose that we had left and make it. I chose making a poster. For the poster I chose to do multiplication. For the multiplication we had to explain algorithm. I chose to do 1 digit by 2 digit and 2 digit by 2 digit. I number that I use to do for the 1 digit one was 21x7. For the 2 digit one I chose to multiply 25x11.

Basic facts

LI:To learn my 6, 7, 8, and 9 times table.
This week for basic facts I learned my six, seven, eight, and nine time  tables. For this I had to fill in the boxes. I think I will memorise these equation. I enjoyed this task.

addition animation

LI:To make a animation about addition.
This week and for the four week we had have to choose to make DLO for Multiplication, Division, Subtraction, and Addition. The DLO's  had to be Animations, Poster, Slide show, and video. This week I chose to do addition and the DLO  is a animation.

basic facts

LI:To learn basic multiplication and division,
This week I worked on a google sheet that helped me learn about the basic multiplication and division. It was easy but it will know help answer the answer fast unlike at first when it took a long time answer.

Jet ski

LI:To add numbers.
This week I played a game to improve my addition. It is called Jet Ski. In this game you can play with your friend.

math equation

LI:To make a math equation using fractions and times table.
This  week for maths we had to make a equations using the multiples of 5,4,and 3. We worked in groups  of three or a pair or if we think we can do it on our own we can work by our selves. I worked with Chris and Lukah. For my equation I used James Rodriguez and Paulo  Dybala. We had to illustrate.

Multiplying fraction

LI:to find fraction of whole number of  amount  using multiplication and division, This week for maths we learned to multiply fraction. We do that by multiplying the numerator with the number you want to multiply it with. We had to make an animation to show how we can multiply fraction.

M&M's in a packet

LI- To understand corresponding fraction, decimals and percentages.

LI- To understand mixed number, improper and equivalent fractions
This week for maths we to make a google doc about how many M&M's are inside a packet. We used it to enter our data in that google doc. After we have done that we had to make two graphs one pie and the other one bar graph about how many of each colour is inside a M&M packet.

fraction

LI- To understand corresponding fraction, decimals and percentages.

LI- To understand mixed number, improper and equivalent fractions .
This week for maths we carried on with fractions. But this week we had to compare fractions with decimals and percentages. We learned it by making two DLO about fractions, decimals, and percentages.

Fractions

LI: To Count in fractions forwards and backwards to a named whole number.recognise the whole of an object, part of an object and equal parts and their names. This week for maths we learned abut fractions. We learned about Numerators and Denominators. Numerators is the amount that you have from the whole. The Denominators is how many times it get divided for example 3/6. The 3 is the numerators and the 6 is the denominator.

Japanese and Lattice methods

Develop the “Japanese” and “Chinese” method for multiplication outside the basics facts. This week for maths we learned about two new strategies called the Japanese and the lattice methods. We learned it by making a DLO about how to do the Lattice and the Japanese methods.

volume and capacity

LI:To recognise the need for a standard unit of volume
LI:To estimate and measure to the nearest litre
LI:To relate the litre to familiar everyday containers

This week for maths we had to measure the volume of two items, and we had to mesure the capacity of that two items. I worked with Matthew. He helped me mesure the volume and capacity of the two items. We also had to make a flipgrid and explain what volume is and what capacity is. Here is a link to my video.

Volume and capacity

LI:To Measure Volume and Capacity. This week for maths Mr O's groups had to measure the volume and capacity of two items. We can measure the capacity of an item by measuring the width the height and the length of an item. The volume however is different the volume is how much a item can hold another item in it.

Length

LI:To make estimations of length and area.
This week for maths we are learning about measuring.  We had measure one thing with millimetres one thing with centimetre and two things in metres.
