LI:To make a art inspired by Max Gimblett
This week last week we made three pieces of art work called Quatrefoil. This art was inspired by Max Gimblett . Max Gimblett is a New Zealand artist who currently lives in New York.  He is famous for his art he made for the people who died in Gallipoli.

The first one had to be in the style of Max Gimblett because he makes lots of quatrefoil art. My Max Gimblett one represents my name. The M stands for Mojtaba and the S stands for Sayed. The flowers represent that I like to play outside.

The second one had to be about Armistice. The cross represents the people that died in World War 1. The poppy is a sign of peace.

The last one had to be about Christmas. I added stripes. The stripes represent the joys of Christmas. I added presents too. The presents represent a new start.

This week had to make the last touches to our three pieces of art. This week we had put a our art works on a big piece of pepper. We had to choose our layout. But some spaces were left so we had to write why we used the the patterns and the colours.

This week we made a piece of art that is pop art which means popular art. Andy Warhol is famous pop artist..we learned it first finding out what does pop art means the we started to follow instruction to make these arts. It is really easy to make a piece of pop art.

LI:To learn about Pop Art .LI:To learn about Andy Warhol. We had to work in groups of 3 people for the whole week and we had to make a poster about Pop Art and Andy Warhol with the three people that we were going to work with.I worked with Matthew and Chris we made A poster about Andy Warhol.I learned it by researching about Andy Warhol and pop art to make a poster about Andy Warhol and Pop Art.

LI: To create a piece of art using translation,rotation, and reflection

I learned to make an  art using translation, rotation , and reflection. I learned it by looking at an example of a piece of art that we are going to do and find out the things that are the same.After that we had to go into groups that had one person of each group for our planning then we had to started on our own piece of art we had to draw a shape that was traditional and could be reflected and don't look the same.we had two weeks to finish it.

I learned to make a art using reflection , translation, and rotation.I learned it by looking at a exmple from the year 7&8 we had to find out the patterns from from the drawing. Then we had to be in a group of 5 for out planning then we had to do it on our own.
