Haunted house

LI: To plan and write narratives quickly.

I learned to write in 40 minutes and plan for 5 minutes   because when we take a test that is how much time we have to write a narrative test. I learned it first by  using a story organiser. First we wrote a narrative in 4 weeks that was just our practice then we started to write stories in 40 minutes about pictures.  In our narrative text we had to have a simple sentence, compound sentence, and a complex sentence and a simile in it.

Here is my story
Matthew, Mojtaba and Aung Naing were 10 years old.They lived in a town named Fun. It was halloween. They each got a costume. Matthew wore a Hulk costume, Mojtaba wore an alien costume, and Aung Naing wore a Naruto costume.They were living very close to each other.One night they saw a haunted house. Matthew said, "who volunteers to discover what is inside of that haunted house?" Mojtaba and Aung Naing responded, " We do!"Mathew said, "Let's go and discover what is inside tomorrow night OK". The tomorrow night they all came to the same place they was before.They knocked on the door the door magically opened they all said "WOW!!!!!!!".Minutes later they were walking then they bumped into a Ghost Matthew shouted" Ruuuuuuuunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!".They Run as fast as a cheetah.They were in a the corridor Aung Naing said "let's get out of here" But they couldn't find there way out. Throw the corridors they saw lot's of picture of old people Mojtaba suggested that those people were the president. They also saw a picture of a kind of gun they all said "That is the key of destroying the ghost" Matthew said "How do we find it " Aung naing responded "it is in a room inside this house.They found two rooms which on is it in. They choose door number one they saw a chest with three gun's that looks the same as the picture they saw.They took one each they hided until the ghost when the ghost was in they shot him . And then saw a door that said exit they ran as fast as they could run out of the house they all went home sad because they had no candy.they told their brothers and sister the story.

Measurement

L.I to measure the angles using a protractor   

I learned to use a protractor to measure the angle of a pie fraction shapes.I learned it by working with Lukah we both first learned how to use a protractor.We learned it by putting the small circle around the point of the pie shape  then we had to use it to measure the angle of pie fraction  shapes. We also had to take a picture of it and write how we did it we had to do 10 slides


Venn diagram

L.I to interact and comprehend  a range of narrative text

I learned to write the difference  and same thing between other characters in the text. I learned it by comparing two of the charactors from the book named the Giraffe the Pelly and me.I compared them  on a google drawing by making a Venn diagram.If you don't know how a venn diagram works this is how it works you write the difference on the sides and the same in the middle.

running the length

LI: to learn how to measure time.
LI: to identify the units of time in order from shortest to longest.


We learned how to measure time.We learned it by adding how many second and milliseconds it took each member of our group to run  the length of  the hall. We recorded how fast we ran  the length of the hall on a google spreadsheet.

I learned to illustrate what I have written. I learned by making a pargh about the giraffe the pelly and the monkey house.It all ways was not the the 3 animals house it use to be a grubber which is another name for sweet shop.

narrative events

L.I to write  a narrative sequence of event

I first learned with my group what a complex sentence is a complex sentence is a simple sentence and then you add a coma then you say a little like what is going on. Once we had learned what a complex sentence is we had to add 2 complex sentences in our events.I Learned it by knowing what an event has in it.

EVENT

Mum dived into the water to catch some fish It was easy for mum
because she was good and there was lots of fish in the ocean.
Mum caught some fish and put the
fish on the smooth surfaces then she saw baby in the air and
thought that baby jumped off on purpose but baby was blown
off the cliff .

Baby was not
aiming  for the jagged ice he was aiming for the water but
unlucky  he fell on the jagged ice then he fell unconscious.

Mum came out of the water and shouted at  the jagged ice,while

she was breaking the jagged ice.

liquid volume

L.I to learn to measure  liquid volume


I learned how to measure a volume of a Liquid. You measure a volume of a liquid by using mL and then making it into a litre.First we learned what a mL is.1 mL is 1 cm3 . When we divided the mL by 1000  then we get the litre  of the any liquid object .In  the picture  there is the millilitre, the litre and the cm3 of a liquid objects like a coke can.

L.I to define a piece of technology & to define  a technological system


I learned what is a  technological system and a piece of technology is.l learned it by reading a google doc about input output and transformation  then we knew what a technological system because the technological system when you put something in a technological system then it gets transformed into something. Then we sat on the mat and discussed as a class what a  is a piece of technology is and a piece of technology is a thing that doesn't move  without your hand moving it.

narrative soultion


LI: To write a narrative solution.
LI: To use similes in our writing.

I learned to use similes in my my narrative writing  and use them  correctly in my solution so it is not boring.I learned it by using story organiser and writing similes in my solution .Simile Are when you write something that is similar to each other.There is 2 kind of simile there is two as or one like for example   for two as  the car is as green as grass and a sample for like the car was green like grass.

Mum pulled baby bear  on  a surface as solid as concrete. Baby bear was watching  mum catch fish, but this time he was not on a cliff. He was looking from his room. Everything was ready for baby bear  birthday feast,And they were  as happy as monkeys eating bananas.

I learned new words that  I don't understand.I want to learn new word  so I could learn more word so I can  use them in stories I write .I learned It by making a google draw so I could write the 10 word that I don't understand from the book that I read.

Today I read  spare the turkey it was about a boy named Barryl and a girl named Jessica. Jessica is vegetarian and she eats vegetables but Darryl doesn't like vegetarian food .By reading the book

L.I  to learn our 9,8 and 7 time table

I learned my nine time table,8 time table and my 7 time table. I learned it  by make a google slide and making rectangles with small square and measuring the width and height of the small  square   and getting the answer it helped because if the height was 8 and the width was 3 that mean it is 3x8 then I can skip  count in three to get the answer.
