Jane Addams
LI:To research about Jane Addams.
This week for inquiry we had to choose a activist to research about. My and my group mates chose to research about Jane Addams. Jane Addams was part of the NAWSA(National American Woman suffrage Association). She was also the creator of the Hull house.

Find, draw, act, and animate
LI: to learn a whole bunch of new words.
This week for reading we learned new words such as Thwart and Fetid. We did this so our vocabulary would we better than it is know. Before we got into our real must do we had four example, the examples where Thwart, Fetid, Encroach, and Opulent. The meaning of Thwart is not letting someone from accomplishing something. Fetid meaning something that smells bad. Encroach means taking someones land from them. Opulent means someone who is wealthy and wants to show people that he/she is wealthy. For this must do we had to work in a group of three. I worked with Matthew and Vayan. After we finished finding the meaning of those words we had to go on a website that had more words we could learn.

Perfect tenses
LI: to identify verbs tenses: Perfect Future, Perfect Present, and Perfect
Past
This week for Writing we learned new tenses. The tenses are perfect future, perfect present, and perfect past. Perfect future tells us what will happen continuously but stops at a specific point. Perfect present tells us what is happening continuously but stops at a specific point. Perfect past tells us what happened continuously but stops at a specific point. A example is of a perfect past is Mojtaba had been playing soccer. Example of a perfect present is Mojtaba has been playing soccer. EXample of a perfect future is Mojtaba will have been playing soccer. For our DLO we had to write twenty verbs, make seven videos out of twenty of them and inflect them all.

This week was the last week for boxing with Paxe. We did boxing in our class. When we it was group B's turn we had to get into partners and then choose who is partner one and who is partner two. I chose to be partner two and Karlos was partner one. Paxe said "partner one has to get glove and partner two has to get two noodle". Once everyone was ready Paxe told us the first combo, Jab, cross, guard, right uppercut, and left hook. I t was hard for me to keep up with Karlos because he boxed fast. Next combo was jab, jab, cross, bridge, and cross. I liked to do this combo because it was fun. The last combo was jab, cross, left hook, u roll, and left hook. After that we swapped jobs Karlos did the noodle work and I got the boxing gloves.

Athletics
LI:To be Athletic
This on Wednesday we went Elsmore park in Howick for a big competition against other schools like PT England and Stonefield.
The first event was 400 metres sprint. I was part of that. I Competed for the year six boys. I was very nervous but it started. We all had specific lanes. I was lane three. The race starts and I am third. I was third until Pt England's competitor came in front of me. My final score was fourth. I am proud of my self for doing better then last year. After me it was the Lorenzo's turn. He competed for the year five boys, he also did well, he managed to become fourth. I think he did good. Then it was Sandra. She competed for the year six girls. Sandra also did well she managed to come fifth.
After the four hundred metre race it was time for the 4 x 100 relay team. First was the year five and six team. They Managed to come third. It was the heats. They managed to go into the finals. They final was at the afternoon probably the last event.
After the 4x100 relay it was the boys turn to do the 50, 75, 100, and 200 metre sprint. My friend Mathew was in that competition. He came third. A good effort from him. But rechinzo game second and manged to go to the final.
After Lunch time it was time for the boys to go to the field events such as high jump and long jump. My event was high jump. I had to wait a long time but eventually it was time for high jump for the year six boys. Me and my friend Matthew went. Matthew came third and I came fourth. I think I did well. Matthew did well to.
After all the events it was time for the 4x100 metre relay finals. First it was the year five and six team. The came fourth. I think they did good. But it was time for the seven and eight team. They had a slow start but they managed to get a good finish coming second behind Pt England.

Different Language maths
LI:To subtract two digit, three digit, and four digit in different languages.
This week for maths we had to choose one of the DLO that was left and had to do three equations one in the 10's the other in the 100's and the last one we had to do was the 1,000's. That wasn't it after that we had to do the answers in three languages. My three languages were Arabic, Persian, and English. The I enjoyed it this task the most because I like learning new languages.
